Everett Ray Laukhuf, 72, of West Liberty, died at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.
He was born in Putnam County on Aug. 24, 1940, to the late Christian Charles and Josephine Marie Lee Laukhuf. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Edward Laukhuf.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda (John) Lauck of Killeen, Texas, and Terri Wilburn of Havana, Fla.; a son, Keith Laukhuf of Paulding; three grandsons, John Lauck III, Todd Wilburn and Andrew Lauck; and brothers, G.V. (Caroline) Laukhuf of Antwerp and Robert (Barbara) Laukhuf of Haviland.
He graduated from Payne High School in May 1958 and retired from International Harvester Corporation with over 41 years of service.
He received Jesus Christ into his heart and life in the middle of August 1965 and was a member of New Richland Baptist Church in New Richland.
Pastor Steve Smith officiates a funeral at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, where visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the funeral. Burial is in Blue Creek Cemetery, Paulding County.
