ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) — The son of a northeast Ohio pastor has joined his father in pleading not guilty to charges that they molested the same teenage girl.
Fifty-three-year-old Paul Endrei, the founder of the popular Church on the Rise in Westlake, and 26-year-old son Jason Endrei were indicted by a grand jury in Elyria (eh-LEER'-ee-uh), west of Cleveland.
WJW-TV (http://bit.ly/1hPy5il ) reports that both have pleaded not guilty. Their attorney says the girl has a history of making troubling unfounded allegations.
Paul Endrei is charged with two counts of sexual battery and four counts of gross sexual imposition involving a child. Jordan Endrei, an assistant pastor at the church, is facing a single count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
