SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (AP) — A southwest Ohio mother and her two adult sons have pleaded not guilty to charges that they were making a living by breaking into homes and stealing.
Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly tells The Dayton Daily News (http://bit.ly/1oJZz7Y ) that investigators spent months looking into several home burglaries in the Springfield area before arresting the trio recently.
Fifty-year-old Debbie Wright and her sons, 27-year-old Michael Nawman and 29-year-old Brooks Nawman, face felony charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
Kelly said the trio targeted houses out in the country and broke in during the afternoon or early evening hours. Deputies say they also could be responsible for other burglaries in the area.
All have pleaded not guilty and are still jailed. No attorney information was available.
