BUCKEYE LAKE, Ohio (AP) — A search is expected to resume for a second boater presumed drowned in a central Ohio lake after a fishing boat capsized.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says the search will continue Monday for the man lost in Buckeye Lake when his 16-foot aluminum boat capsized on Friday.
The other boater — whose body was recovered Friday — has been identified as 62-year-old Gary Cook of Columbus.
Officials said the water was about 3 feet deep where the boat capsized near Millersport, but only about 43 degrees.
Crews in six boats searched the lake Sunday. The Ohio State Highway Patrol also searched from the air.
