LIMA, Ohio (AP) — A newspaper reports that military police detained a reporter and photographer outside a tank plant in northwest Ohio after the photographer took pictures of the building.
The Blade in Toledo says police took the camera Friday, and the images had been deleted when it was returned about seven hours later.
The newspaper says reporter Tyrel Linkhorn and photographer Jetta Fraser had stayed outside the gate of the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center operated by General Dynamics Land Systems.
They were stopped and detained for a short time. Police did not immediately return the camera. The newspaper says police told Fraser her photography of the plant was not permitted.
The Blade reports (http://bit.ly/1laRVT0 ) both were wearing media credentials.
Messages left at the plant and with U.S. Army public affairs weren't immediately returned.
