CINCINNATI (AP) — Police have arrested two men in a shooting that left a 14-year-old Cincinnati boy dead and three other people injured.
Cincinnati police said in a release Saturday that Jashawn Martin died from injuries received in the shooting Friday afternoon in a neighborhood north of downtown.
Police say 20-year-old Miniko Hicks and 18-year-old Donyell Walker were arrested on charges of murder in Martin's death. It could not immediately be determined whether the two men had attorneys.
Police spokeswoman Sgt. Julian Johnson says the injuries to the other three people were not believed to be life threatening.
Authorities say they located the two suspects a short distance from the site of the shooting. Police did not immediately comment on a possible motive in the shootings.
