COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Many Ohio schools are closed or delayed again as the state continues to dig out from the latest major snow storm.
Commuters were being warned Thursday that plow crews haven't gotten to many secondary streets and lots of slick spots remain on roadways. The state saw another major storm Wednesday that brought 4 to 8 inches of snow to most of the state.
Many of the closings were in the Columbus area, which saw more than 10 inches of snow and then freezing rain Wednesday.
Plows hadn't gotten to many side streets in Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland, and large drifts and piles of snow from plowing were causing traffic problems.
The Ohio Department of Transportation was making arrangements to replenish dwindling road salt supplies.
More snow is possible this weekend.
