New charges against Ohio daycare worker, boyfriend

ELYRIA, Ohio (AP) — More charges are being directed against a former northern Ohio daycare worker who is accused of raping four children.

The woman's boyfriend also is facing new charges linking him to the alleged sexual assaults. An indictment announced this past week expanded the charges against the pair.

Prosecutors say 25-year-old Heather Koon of Elyria (eh-LEER'-ee-uh) raped the children at the urging of her boyfriend, 34-year-old James Osborne, also of Elyria.

Messages seeking comment were left with attorneys for Koon and Osborne.

Koon has denied the allegation while Osborne's attorney has said Osborne did not molest the alleged victims or knowing anything about a video that authorities say was found on Koon's laptop.

Osborne is now facing an 80-count indictment while Koon is facing 40 counts.
