Ohio police say 1 killed in I-71 Columbus crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police say one person has been killed in a crash on northbound Interstate 71 in Columbus.

Columbus police say a semi-truck flipped over at the Gemini Place interchange just after 6 a.m. EST Saturday. Northbound lanes have been closed, as well as nearby ramps.

Police say a person was dead at the scene. No other details were released immediately.

While open, southbound lanes are reportedly very slow. Northbound lanes could be closed for hours more.
