Ohio work expected to slow I-75 South in Cincy

CINCINNATI (AP) — Motorists heading south on Interstate 75 this weekend could face long delays because of interchange construction.

The Ohio Department of Transportation urges drivers to use alternate routes as southbound traffic is shifted west onto new pavement with various ramp and lane closures. The work is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Friday and continue until Monday morning at 6.

Message boards will be used to inform motorists of closures and traffic changes. Northbound I-75 traffic won't change this weekend.

The work was rescheduled from last weekend because of bad weather.
