CINCINNATI (AP) — More than half a foot of snow is already on the ground in parts of southwestern and central Ohio as another round of wintry weather heads this way.
The National Weather Service says 7 inches of snow was reported in Harveysburg, Warren County and Oxford, Butler County. Five inches was reported in northwestern Cincinnati.
Forecasters say sunny skies on Saturday wouldn't last long, as more snow was forecast to hit parts of Ohio on Sunday.
Meteorologist Mike Kurz says more snowy weather is expected for southern Ohio on Sunday morning. He says that should change to a wintry mix as temperatures rise Sunday afternoon. He says parts of southern Ohio could get 1 to 3 inches of snow Sunday, with lesser amounts likely in central Ohio.
