BELLBROOK, Ohio (AP) — Police in a Dayton suburb said they expect to file criminal charges after a middle-school student was knocked unconscious on a school bus in what his mother calls a case of bullying.
The Dayton Daily News (http://bit.ly/17O5W4p ) reports that it happened Oct. 29 in Bellbrook. The 13-year-old told police he was hit in the head and knocked unconscious with a heavy book bag.
His mother said her son was bleeding from his right ear after his head struck the window, and he appears to be experiencing hearing problems now.
A Bellbrook detective said he reviewed surveillance video of the incident and expects to file a criminal charge Thursday.
The boy's mother said she wants the school to take steps so something like this doesn't happen again.
