COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in central Ohio say a woman riding in an SUV died when the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle, which crashed into a house.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office hasn't yet released the name of the woman killed in the crash early Tuesday on the west side of Columbus. The sheriff's office said she was ejected from the Ford Explorer when it rolled.
Neither she nor the driver was wearing a seat belt. The driver, who hasn't been identified, was taken to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The vehicle crashed into a house, damaging a porch and chimney. Nobody in the house was hurt.
Deputies said it wasn't clear what caused the driver to lose control.
