COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The state of Ohio is holding an end-of-season yard sale of surplus lawn equipment and other items.
Bids will be accepted at the auction Saturday in Columbus for items also including a 25-horsepower outboard motor, a whirlpool bath, a 46-inch John Deere mowing deck and John Deere plow blade.
The state's property agency says all items must be paid for on the day of the sale and must be picked up by Wednesday.
The state says auctions offer discounted goods to the public and a chance for the state to recover some of its investment.
Property and vehicle auctions generated more than $3.9 million during fiscal year 2013.
