HARDIN COUNTY — A 20-year-old McGuffey man was killed in a single car accident early Tuesday morning on County Road 75, south of County Road 150 in McDonald Township.
At 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, Damien D. Howard, of 407 E. Main St., McGuffey, was driving his 2000 Chevy Blazer northbound on CR 75.
He drifted off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected and lost control. Howard’s vehicle rolled over off the left side of CR 75 and struck a utility pole. He was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Howard was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner.
The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the crash and is continuing to investigate. They were assisted on the scene by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, McGuffey Fire and Ada EMS.
