CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Clinic has again been named the top hospital in the country for heart care by U.S. News & World Report.
The news magazine ranked the Cleveland Clinic the top hospital in Ohio and No. 4 overall in the nation — behind Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Massachusetts General Hospital and Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
The Plain Dealer newspaper (http://bit.ly/14VLoUu ) reports the Cleveland Clinic has been named the best heart hospital for the 19th year in a row by the magazine. In all, the hospital placed in the top 10 in 14 different specialties.
Dr. Bruce Lytle, chairman of Cleveland Clinic's Miller Family Heart and Vascular Institute, said the hospital is grateful for the recognition but keeps striving to get better every day.
