COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State University is building a $190,000 office suite for retired president Gordon Gee and an assistant.
The Dayton Daily News reports Wednesday (http://bit.ly/15w9iXE) that construction on the Page Hall office begins next month and will be completed Sept. 20.
Ohio State spokesman Gary Lewis says Gee will become a tenured professor in the nearby Moritz College of Law as part of his retirement package, which is not yet finalized.
The 69-year-old Gee retired July 1, a month after remarks became public that he made months earlier jabbing Notre Dame, Roman Catholics and Southeastern Conference schools.
