Man pleads guilty in 14-year-old's murder

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio man has pleaded guilty to murder and other charges in the beating death of his girlfriend's 14-year-old son and abuse of the boy's twin brothers.

The Vindicator in Youngstown reports (http://bit.ly/11zFhBM) that 42-year-old Zaryl Bush of Struthers pleaded guilty in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.

He is expected to be sentenced sometime next week and faces 15 years to life in prison.

Prosecutors say Bush fatally beat Teddy Foltz in January following years of torture that included forcing him to walk on hot coals and making him stand outside until he was frostbitten.

The boy's mother, 32-year-old Shain Widdersheim, was accused of allowing the abuse and pleaded guilty to related charges earlier this week. She faces 10 years in prison.
