CINCINNATI (AP) — Water rescue crews have resumed their search for a swimmer missing in the Little Miami River near Mariemont, east of downtown Cincinnati.

A Mariemont police dispatcher says rescue crews resumed the search for the man Wednesday morning after halting it overnight.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has identified the missing swimmer as 19-year-old Otis Andrews, of the Cincinnati suburb of Norwood.

A sheriff's deputy says Andrews went missing while swimming in the river around 8 p.m. Tuesday. No other details were immediately available.
