The Hardin County Crime Task Force, assisted by the Kenton Police Department and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, executed four search warrants Wednesday at 421 W. Columbus St., 421 1/2 W. Columbus St., 423 W. Columbus St. and 429 W. Columbus St. in Kenton.
Two Kenton men, a male from Marion and a man from Michigan were arrested for trafficking in drugs. A female was issued a summons for visiting a disorderly house.
Officers seized 1,043 pills, Suboxone strips, marijuana, cash, a vehicle, guns, some unknown white powder and drug paraphernalia in the raid.
All four homes are owned by Donald Murphy of the 421 1/2 address, according to Kenton Police, and Wednesday’s raid was not the first time.
Officials are talking with the municipal prosecutor about initiating the process of Murphy’s forfeiture of 421 1/2 W. Columbus St. Murphy was warned future drug charges at the other three homes could result in similar legal action.
