Spherion donates to Union Station of Logan County

     Spherion Staffing Services, 100 Clarkston Ave., recently donated $1,000 to Union Station of Logan County, 613 Hamilton St., as part of its annual Community Give Back program.

     Spherion Bellefontaine franchise owners Bob and Grace Schulte and President Carol Russell selected Union Station as its local program recipient to support the faith-based community center’s recreation, education and outreach initiatives benefiting Logan County residents and their families. 

 

     “Through the impactful results it achieves every day, Union Station shares our commitment to making Bellefontaine a better place to live and work,” Ms. Russell said. 

 

     “We are thrilled to honor this quality organization as part of our Community Give Back program, and we look forward to exploring new opportunities throughout the coming year to further improve business and social health across the entire region.”

Statehouse performers

The Bellefontaine Examiner accompanied the Riverside Dulcimer Club and Home Strings Dulcimer Club students to their performance at the Ohio Statehouse earlier this month. The local groups, directed by Leanna George, performed as part of the Statehouse Holiday Performances concert series.
