ILES-Christmas-cookies

Indian Lake Elementary School kindergarten students Winnie Bodin, left, and Jason Friend from Jodi Carder’s classroom use their newly learned math skills of measurement to make Christmas cookies during a recent assignment. Their class measured the flour, sugar and baking powder to make the cookie dough. Then they were able to roll out the dough and choose their own cookie shape. Not surprisingly, the pupils said the best part of the lesson was partaking of the cookies. (PHOTO | INDIAN LAKE SCHOOLS)
