Jim Reed, left, an employee of the Columbus-based DaNite Sign Co., places a PNC Bank sign Monday on the 145 S. Main St. building of the former National City Bank. The institutions finalized a merger in December 2008 and the conversion of the local branch to PNC should be completed by Feb. 22, according to bank officials.
