Laker Zone winners announced

Indian Lake Elementary School recently awarded Laker Zone T-shirts to dozens of students for the second quarter of the year. 

 

The Laker Zone is a long-time grant program that encourages students to help others, resist bullying and be hard workers in the classroom. 

 

Laker Zone winners included: kindergartners Scarlette Miller, Kail Shoffstall, Aurora Skyrabina Goslee, Tyler Tidwell, Liam Naumann, Jaxon Snipes and Garrett Gurka; first-graders Jack Cooper, Alyssa Powell, Weston Campbell, Jada Shroyer, Chazlance Moore and Gavin Spring; second-graders Kelsie Duncan, Talan Archer, Cyrus Cummins, Justin Zimmerman, Elijah Wolf, Isaiah Kirby and Jasmine Doty; third-graders Kaylee Overbey, Eva Carney, Dylan Valerio, Sydney Wright, Gillian Taylor, Brody Parsell and Paris Van Court; fourth-graders Hannah Gambrel, Brant Parsell, Grace Todd, Faith Tegtmeyer, Tia Tracey and Gavin Lones. 

 

Bus drivers also recognized students Aunaleigh Rains, Alem Kemp, Mason Champ and Autumn Brooks. 

 

In addition, more than 170 students were honored for perfect attendance during the second nine weeks. Kindergartener Jayden Skaggs and second grader Allison Evans were the winners of the bicycle of drawing.
