Logan County seamstresses had a successful stint last week at the Ohio 4-H Fashion Revue at the Ohio State Fair, with 8 out of the 15 participants receiving Outstanding of the Day Awards.
In addition, Logan County exceeded the other counties in the state with its number of Outstanding Awards received for sewing projects during the three-day competition.
Those who received Outstanding Awards included: Allie Knapp, Clothes for Middle School; Allison Knief, Outer Layers; Lauryn Sanford, Sundresses and Jumpers; Malaina Jenkins, Tops for Tweens; Kelsie Blair, Clothes for Career; Hannah Marlow, Fun with Clothes; Alexa Klingler, Accessories; and Samuel Knight, Sew Fun.
Other state fair participants included: Rita Winner, Costumes; Kasandera Knief, Embellishment; Ruth Winner, Sew for Others; Lindsey Hall, Loungewear; Paige Marmon,
Formals; Maggie Henry, Active Sportswear; and Kasandera Knief, Dress up Daywear.
