Employees of ProGrass, a company based in Pittsburgh, cut out spots for the hash marks in the new synthetic surface at Bellefontaine High School’s athletic stadium Monday morning. ProGrass has also done artificial playing fields for Lima Senior, St. Marys and Wapakoneta. The installation of the turf is part of a roughly $1.5 million project that also will include improvements to the track, press box and bleachers and a new scoreboard. It will be ready for the fall football season. (EXAMINER PHOTO | MATT HAMMOND)
