Members of the West Liberty-Salem FFA poultry team won the recent Miami Trace Poultry Invitational in Washington Court House, posting a total score of 1,734 points.
A total of 21 teams participated in the contest.
Individually, the team placed four members in the top seven participants. Sarah Williams received second place with 592 points; Catherine Williams was third with 575 points; Bethany Maytas, fifth place, 566 points; and Keri White, seventh place, 551 points.
Other students placings were Jordon Wolfe 13th, Abbie Loffing 16th, Jonathan Wolfe 18th, Charlie Williams 75th.
The team travels to Celina for the final invitational and also prepares for the Ohio FFA Poultry Finals April 6 at the Ohio Expo Center.
