Calvary Christian Schools students recently competed in the Ohio Valley Association of Christian Schools International’s Geography Bee, where fourth-grader Kaitlyn Angus and third-graders Alexxie West and Emma Patton each received first-place. Eighth-graders Bradon Studebaker and Sam Kirkpatrick received sixth-place and eight-place, respectively. In other CCS news, students participated in the Ohio Valley ACSI Math Olympics, and the results are as follows: computation — Clayton Slemmons, second place; Daniel Wilt, third; Parker Grothaus, fourth; Isaac Reinhard, fifth; reasoning — Katie Thompson, second; Junett Ly, fourth; Emma Patton, Josiah Kratz, fifth; Mia Printz, seventh.
