CCS collects 1,000 items for canned food drive

The Calvary Christian School Fellowship of Christian Athletes recently conducted a canned food drive collection, and students in grades 4-9 brought in approximately 1,000 items.

The ninth-graders brought in the most items totaling 264, earning a free lunch at the restaurant of their choice. Ninth-grade participants included Peter Printz, Baylee Durnell, Austin Durnell, Nathalie Thompson, Josh Wilt, Noah Taylor, Haiden Stidham, Josh Wilt Christian West and Dan Samonowicz

The canned foods will be donated to local pantries and churches.
