ABOVE: Humane Society Serving Logan County volunteer adoption events coordinator Peg Leasure and Honey, a 3-year-old Beagle mix were on hand Sunday for the inaugural blessing of the pets Sunday at Indian Lake Community Church. The blessing event, the clergy related, goes back to St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment who loved animals and will be an annual event at the church.
