Tri-County Community Action employees and clients celebrated the birthday of a longtime employee, Maxine Wingo, who turned 94 on Nov. 23, with a party at the Liberty Gathering Place.

She has been with the agency since Aug. 1, 1984, more than 27 years since her retirement. The area resident works through a job skills training program for seniors, called Experience Works, and has been an asset for the senior nutrition program over the years.
