MAST) BELOW: David Jackson was harvesting a 30-acre field Monday along State Route 47 west of Bellefontaine. He said he was glad to finally get into his field. “Mother Nature hasn’t really been kind,” he said of the year beset by overly dry and wet conditions. His beans were registering between 10 or 11 moisture content and were yielding between 63 and 65 bushels per acre, he said. “We’re pretty satisfied with our yield.” (EXAMINER PHOTO | T.J. HUBBARD).
