Show Jam 2 becomes Sandy Hook Benefit

Mad River Mountain’s Snow Jam 2 has become a benefit for the victims of the Sandy Hook School shooting that occurred Friday in Connecticut. Rail Jam outside on snow begins at 6 p.m., with the Scotty McCarron Duo taking the stage inside the Loft. Officials look to be back up and making snow Thursday night through the weekend. “We can't say exactly when we will be open but hope to have some terrain for all abilities very soon.” Extended office hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. allow extra time Saturday to purchase a Mad Money Card or grab a Book of Five through the event. Special purchase package information is available at (800) 2331-7669.
