New village utility fund established

A shuffling of the income from water utility fees in the village of Russells Point will  help pay for long-needed improvements to the storm water infrastructure.  A resolution of support was approved Monday in a regular meeting of Russells Point Village Council to cooperate with the Board of Public Affairs and establish a storm water utility fund that would generate about $10,000-$12,000 per year to help pay for storm water inflow and infiltration that’s a contributing factor to flooding throughout the village.
