County Road 17 closing for bridge work

Crews from the Logan County Highway Department will repair a bridge on County Road 17 between County Road 52 and State Route 720 with a scheduled start date of Wednesday morning. The work is scheduled to be completed June 29 depending on weather conditions.

Motorist cited after crash

Carlos Apricio, 38, of 425 E. Brown Ave., was charged Saturday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs after a single-vehicle crash at 10:45 a.m. near his residence. He also was cited for no operator’s license and failure to control.
