FFA chapter attends convention, participates in competitions

The Benjamin Logan High School FFA Chapter recently traveled to the National FFA Convention in Louisville, where they participated in a number of general sessions and attended the World’s Toughest Rodeo. Enroute to the convention, they toured the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. Before traveling home, they toured the Louisville Slugger Museum and attended a hypnotist show.

Mother of three faces CPO violation

Amanda A. Butler, 31, of 501 Gunntown Road, Lot 18, was charged Wednesday with violating a protection order after she allowed Rodney Burnside into her residence. The order prohibits Mr. Burnside, a registered sex offender, from having contact with Ms. Butler’s children.
