Mobile home badly damaged in fire

All off-duty Bellefontaine first responders were called in about 8:30 p.m. Monday to combat a mobile home fire at 1000 Garfield Avenue Lot 35. The residence is owned by Daniel Johnson, firefighters report. About $5,000 damage was reported to the property and its contents. A cause is still being determined.
