Suspect lodged for theft

Chase Allen Brown, 23, of 605 N. Detroit St., Apt. 5, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. today and charged with theft after police determined he entered Wal-Mart, 2281 S. Main St., and deliberately swapped bar codes from certain items in an attempt to pay less than full price.
