Traffic stops lead to gun, drug charges

Jonah M. Taylor, 36, of Glouster, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of prescription drugs, having weapons under disability and improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle after a 5:25 p.m. traffic stop Friday.

Much-loved Riverside teacher surprised prior to deployment

Riverside Junior High School students, with the help of their teachers, pulled together a surprise assembly Friday for their much-loved social studies teacher, who soon will be deployed to the Middle East with the Ohio Army National Guard.
