Prosecutor: Barton was sentenced to life

“Life sentences are life sentences. There is no 15 years to life sentence for murder,” Logan County Prosecutor William T. Goslee said today, taking issue with the Examiner’s report on Anthony Barton’s sentence for killing his five-year-old son.

He explained murder convictions carry a life sentence.
