Teens lodged in JDC

A 13-year-old Bellefontaine boy was charged with delinquency criminal trespass and possessing criminal tools Tuesday when he was caught trying to enter 118 W. Brown Ave. around 7:45 a.m. He was taken to school, later arrested and lodged in the Logan County Juvenile Detention Center.

Career center names new superintendent

In a special meeting Wednesday night, the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board of Education retained Dr. Richard Smith as the district's new superintendent. He replaces Dr. Jeff Price, who retires July 31.
