Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle injury crash about 7:15 a.m. today on County Road 5, just north of County Road 2.

Officers are looking into a possible assault in which David Comer sustained a large gash to the left side of his forehead around 10 p.m. Thursday.
Level 1 snow emergency canceled

Macochee EMS response areas finalized

Macochee Joint Ambulance District response areas in Champaign County were negotiated between the district board and the trustees of Harrison and Salem Townships, finalizing all parts of the response boundary for Macochee EMS within both Champaign and Logan counties.
