Less mowing opens the way for other city, county projects

The 2016 mowing season started out with a strong growing season across the county, but a prolonged dry spell has reduced the need to mow for Bellefontaine’s Parks and Streets departments, opening the door for other work.

Police safety day is Saturday

The Bellefontaine Police Department is hosting its annual Law Enforcement Safety Day, which brings together representatives of local, state and federal agencies, will return for its fourth year from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Southview Park.
