Fire department begins building project

Mayor Ryan Shoffstall and the members of the Lakeview Village Council lauded the efforts of village fire chief Norm Spring, his staff and the village building and grounds committee, and thanked residents for supporting the recent levy to build a new fire station, during a regular meeting Monday.

Man, woman get local jail for alcohol-fueled rages
