Mended Hearts Christmas party is Thursday

Theft reported at Wal-Mart

Employees of Wal-Mart, 2281 S. Main St., filed a report with officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department on Thursday that empty packaging for two iPad devices was located in a back room. 

There were no suspects listed.

It has been almost 4 1/2 years since a derecho packing 70-mph winds nearly toppled the Logan County Courthouse tower and work continues to restore the 146-year-old building.

4 of 5 Lima suspects housed in local facilities

Three adults and one juvenile, all from Lima and accused of participating in the Nov. 24 slaying of Jeffrey Brentlinger, are now lodged in Logan County after one suspect was brought back from Indiana on Thursday.
