Fire sirens sound for fallen firefighters


Fire sirens throughout the county will be activated at noon Sunday, Oct. 4, as Logan County joins an annual tradition across the U.S. to commemorate fallen firefighters through the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Local sex offender search available through LCSO Web site

With a new school year under way and Beggar’s Night approaching Thursday, Oct. 29, officials from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office this week issued a reminder about sex offender location information and e-mail alerts that are available online to help keep children and families safe.
