Area couple faces felony charges

LIMA — Keith M. Whitmore, 54, and his wife, Kelly M. Whitmore, 35, both of Kenton, face felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized 165 individually wrapped units of heroin, 18 Oxycodone pills and 66 Xanax pills, worth more than $107,000, following a traffic stop Monday in Allen County.

Sex offender released from prison

Alex Stewart, 30, a Tier II sex offender convicted of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor for incidents involving a 13-year-old girl, was released recently from prison and will be living at 108 Walnut St., Quincy, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report. He is also on parole with officer Jeff Romains.
