Local case taking shape against burglary ring suspects

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office have referred burglary charges to the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office against a husband and wife who were arrested Thursday in Shelby County and are suspected in burglaries committed in Logan, Shelby and Auglaize counties this year.

Driver flown after rollover crash

David Lane, 28, of Bellefontaine, was transported by Indian Lake EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital, and later was flown by medical helicopter to the OSU Wexner Medical Center for treatment of incapacitating injuries sustained in a crash early Sunday morning.

Fleeing man caught

Trenton E. Mathews, 36, of 413 E. Sandusky Ave., was arrested Saturday on a warrant for felonious assault and charged with obstructing official business, possession of drug abuse instruments and criminal trespassing on railroad property.
