Despite a challenging growing season with very little rain during recent months, a veteran exhibitor at the open flower show said Mother Nature provided a little assistance to her this week that lent itself to a best of show rosette.

Three Defiance residents were injured, one seriously, when the vehicle they were traveling in crashed about 5:35 p.m. Friday on U.S. Route 33 near State Route 117.


Birt pleads not guilty to charges in Tri-County collapse
