Investigation leads to drug arrest

Wendy R. Wendel, 37, of 117 E. Williams Ave., was arrested Wednesday on two warrants for trafficking in crack cocaine as part of a Logan County Joint Drug Task Force investigation. Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department assisted with the arrest.

Man flown to hospital after crash

PORT JEFFERSON — A Maplewood man was transported by medical helicopter to an area hospital after a crash early Wednesday on State Route 47, just east of Port Jefferson.
